“ This is my around the corner fish and chips shop AND THE BEST fish and chips I’ve tasted in Saffron Walden. Big chips portions (love the cheesy ones), tender fish, and an enormous amount of sides to choose from. I’d especially recommend their Salt & Pepper Squid which slightly undercooked is as good as top London restaurants. Love this place ”

An absolute bargain for some very good chips and some decent cod, The batter wasn’t fully connected to the cod and the fish was not easy to cut as the batter was very crispy. The chips were fairly good and good portion of salt and vinegar on the chips. All sauce was on the house which was a nice touch to the place. A very good selection of seafood to get and overall a very nice place to be. The portions were really good and a large cod and a large chips were enough to serve two very hungry lads. A nice open area with seats to look out at a nice brick wall but nevertheless the location was very good. ”
